Dr. Revathy V. S has been working as an Asstistant Professor of Zoology from 2017 onwards in Union Christian college, Aluva, Kerala, India. She is an approved Research Guide in Zoology at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She begun her teaching career as an Asstistant Professor from 2016 onwards in N.S.S College, Pandalam, Kerala.
She pursued her Bachelor’s Degree from Vimala College, Thrissur and Post Graduation Degree in Zoology from St. Thomas College Thrissur. she secured her Ph.D. in Zoology, from Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi. PhD research was done on the topic ‘Systematics of the Swallowtail butterflies (Lepidoptera: Papilionidae) of Kerala, India’.
Her research interests lie in the areas of environmental studies,Taxonomy Entomology and molecular studies. She has 5 years of teaching experience and more than 4 years of research experience. She has made more than 20 scholarly contributions including both international/national journal publications and 15 conference papers.
